What it does
Snaplog is a photo blog application that enables you to share photographs and images with anybody via your iPhone. These are uploaded to a domain which is set down whenever you sign up for an account.
Such an approach will no doubt appeal to all the individuals who don’t have the time to actually get down to blogging but are keen on the basic premise and want to try it out for themselves, at least in part.
As it was already mentioned, this system can be tried for free by creating an account at the site. This process is quit straightforward, and all you have to do in addition to furnishing some particulars is choosing a custom domain to go with.
Alternatively, you can try the system beforehand and have your photos displayed on a temporary browser for your own testing purposes – these won’t be shared or viewed by anybody else until an account is created.
Lastly, remember that the project is still being implemented, and that feedback is greatly appreciated. You can reach the programmers behind this initiative at team@snaplog.com and let them know about the way you feel as regards this interesting app.
In their own words
“Snaplog is the simplest and quickest way to blog, upload and share your photos.”
Why it might be a killer
Those who have always been attracted by the overall concept of blogging yet never gave it a try can have a taster for themselves via this app.
Some questions
What version of the iPhone OS do you need?

Why it might be a killer
It is a supple tool that overcomes many usual problems like spamming and so forth.
Some questions
How will the company market the product so that it can become a mainstay?
In their own words
“Psolenoid is an intuitive, easy-to-use linking tool that allows bloggers to connect their posts to other, related posts. When activated on a blog, Psolenoid allows bloggers to create a two-way, reciprocal link exchange between their blog post and another relevant post, connecting the related posts on both blogs. We call this process “wiring” and it automatically creates a “rabbit hole” or two-way link for audiences of both blogs to visit the other blog post.”
What it does
Psolenoid is a new and promising startup that offers bloggers a linking tool for connecting their posts from blog to blog. Whenever this application is activated, a reciprocal link exchange is implemented and related posts on different weblogs are thus connected. This process is known as “wiring” in the site’s parlance.
From a visual point of view, a Psolenoid link is displayed at the bottom of a blog post and it includes a preview of the wired post and a short comment that introduces the other site alongside a user profile image.
The site features a prominent link which reads “Activate Psolenoid” that will let you try this solution all by yourself. The approximate activation time amounts to one minute, and it basically entails providing the URL of the blog you want to install Psolenoid on. Once this has been dealt with, whenever you come across any other blog that also has Psolenoid installed and which features related posts you can request the system pair posts and publish links automatically in both blogs.
Such a service is appealing because there are many blog sites that do not allow trackbacks, and it can effectively put an end to spamming on blogs since all the links are monitored by the company’s team. If you feel such an approach is just what you need in order to make your blog go one step further, you can follow the link that is displayed below and learn more.

What it does
The tagline of this new service goes “Surf the web and post to Twitter”, and you couldn’t ask for a more concise definition than that. In essence, BigTweet is a free service that will let you open a window in the middle of any webpage you are visualizing, post to Twitter using it and then go back to what you were doing before.
This system is implemented by dragging and dropping the button that is provided into your browser’s toolbar. Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari and Google Chrome are already fully supported, and individualized assistance on how to add the bookmarklet is included online just in case.
As far as posting itself is concerned, you can choose from the classic 140 character format or go from a 280 character limit. According to the size of your update, the post itself might be split in multiple tweets that go by the appropriate labels. Furthermore, unicode characters are supported so that you can express your feelings in a straightforward fashion, and also free up characters in the process.
If we consider how popular Twitter is, any new application or service that expands its power without sacrificing any of its immediacy (such as this one) has a ready public waiting for it. If you are already hooked on micro-blogging, a visit to the site is more than likely to provide you with the resources to enhance your online experience.
In their own words
“Surf the web and post to Twitter!”
Why it might be a killer
It makes for a more realized and versatile Twitter experience for all concerned parties.
Some questions
How can this service be furthered and improved?

“Hi, I'm Brodie Beta. Tech junkie and Apple fangirl. I'm passionate about technology, gadgets and the web. I love the outdoors but I'm usually packing an iPhone and Macbook. I write posts on web services, gadgets, iPhones, games and other geeky topics here @ BrodieBeta.com”
Why it might be a killer
It is a nice resource for iPhone users, written in a clear and enjoyable style.
What it does
Self-dubbed “tech junkie an Apple fangirl” Brodie Beta runs this blog, an online resource that is mainly devoted to the review and commentary of the latest iPhone apps that surface along with assorted industry news.
Whenever an app is reviewed, you are also provided all-important information such as the price and the compatibility. Of course, the means for procuring that particular application are provided in the guise of a “Get It” link.
Further resources include Brodie’s video postcasts. These deal with issues related to the ones the weblog covers – EG, iPhone apps, games and different web services that are brought to your consideration.
For its part, there are also posts that deal with topics such as “5 ways to pick up a girl using your iPhone” and so forth.
It will be interesting to see the way this online resource shapes up as time goes by. In the meantime, you can check out the available posts and see if you find out an app that is right for you reviewed at the weblog.

“Present.ly gives your employees the ability to instantly communicate their current status, ask and answer questions, share media, and more with the revolutionary communications method pioneered by Twitter.”
Why it might be a killer
It is a practical way of connecting with coworkers and coordinate efforts.
Some questions
How much does each plan cost?
What it does
A new startup that makes for microblogging in a private circle, Present.ly is geared towards one specific set of users: coworkers. Basically, it enables employers to communicate with each other instantly and communicate their current status and the progress of tasks that are pending. Furthermore, users can ask and answer questions and share media easily.
This solution comes in different packages, and these are enumerated and described online. They range from a “Free” version to the one entitled “Enterprise” that currently stands as 99 US$ and supports 12 GB of media sharing. Other paid plans include the “Basic” and “Plus” incarnations. In any case, every plan comes complete with a 60-day free trial at the end of which you can decide whether to continue using the service or look elsewhere.
Pricing information is included on the site, and you can also see a demo and take a video tour in order to determine if this solution is right for you or not. For my part, I think that Twingr offers a better overall service – it is completely free, and it caters for all kind of users whatsoever (not just coworkers).

Some questions
What features are going to be implemented in future updates?
In their own words
“With Twingr, you can create a microblogging community and communicate with friends and other people that share your same interests.”
Why it might be a killer
It is a whole new take on the world of microblogging that has the potential to revolutionize the way people connect and interact online.
What it does
The concept that lies at the heart of Twingr is a simple yet effective one. Basically, Twingr will enable you to create a microblogging community of your own, and easily communicate with acquaintances and partners in a seamless fashion. In that sense, Twingr covers a ready demand within the world of microblogging, and it sets the scene for a more realized communication platform.
Twingr is presented by Startups.com Network, a network of business sites that offers services and content for business people. Twingr is a free service that aims to be to microblogging what Ning is to social networking.
One of the most salient aspects of Twingr is that not only enables the user to create a community – it actually makes for creating an independent community. In practice, this means that the user has absolute control over aspects such as monetization.
You can create your own group easily at the site and get started. All you have to do is provide a name for the group itself and pick a web address. The site also includes a screencast in case you need further guidance.
Station your browser at Twingr.com if you want to give this new application a try, and take microblogging to a whole new level altogether.

Self-defined as “a simple widget that can be embedded on any web page and provide a summary of your personal profile as presented in your LinkedIn account”, LinkedInABox is there to ensure that the true potential that a LinkedIn profile has is unleashed efficiently.
Using LinkedInABox is actually quite simple. All you have to do is provide your LinkedIn e-mail and password and set down a name for your box. Then, you have to select the attributes that you want to be displayed. These include your summary, experience, skills and also your public profile.
When creating your box, it is also possible to customize its appearance by choosing its color theme and entering an image URL to be used as background.
When all is said and done, LinkedInABox is a nice service that it is not only rendered free of charge, but it is also very easy to get to grips with and use. Station your web browser at www.linkedinabox.com in the event you need further information.

“Free blogger templates for your blog.”
Why it might be a killer
Those in need of inspiration will find it appealing.
Some questions
How often are new designs added? How do you submit your own design?
What it does

If any of the abovementioned is true, a site like this is bound to provide you with some interesting resources. Basically this site collects together templates for bloggers that range far and wide – from templates that deal with the most popular cartoon heroes like Kung Fu Panda and Garfield to streamlined templates for those who want to keep things simple, and garish designs for those who like things as psychedelic as they come.
The website is subdivided in consequence, and a tag cloud is also prominently featured for you to click about and see what comes up. Moreover, you can see these designs that have attracted the most attention alongside the ones that have garnered the best ratings. Likewise, you can visualize together the ones that have been downloaded the most.
When all is said and done, both newcomers and seasoned bloggers are prone to appreciate the designs on offer, as it may provide them with the resources to spruce up their blogs and have a better front-end in the process.
